When it comes to combining fun and philanthropy, few events can match the success and impact of Parker, Smith & Feek’s inaugural Putt-A-Palooza. This exciting charitable fundraising event, held last week at the Forum House in Bellevue, Washington, brought together spirited teams and eager attendees for a day filled with a putt-putt golf tournament, tasty food, refreshing drinks, and, most importantly, a whole lot of giving.
Putt-A-Palooza wasn’t just your average fundraiser but a celebration of the spirit of togetherness. Attendees formed teams and engaged in friendly competition on the mini-golf course, displaying their putting prowess and sharing lots of laughter along the way. The atmosphere was nothing short of electric, with people coming together to support a great cause.
While the event was undoubtedly a great time, what truly set Putt-A-Palooza apart was its commitment to making a positive impact on the community. The event raised over $100,000 for the IMA Foundation through the generosity of attendees and sponsors. These proceeds will be redirected to charitable organizations in communities across the Pacific Northwest.
Twice a year, the IMA Foundation board of trustees reviews hundreds of applications and determines grants to award to deserving nonprofits whose missions reflect the IMA Foundation’s focus areas of Education, Arts & Culture, and Advancing Youth. In 2022, the IMA Foundation awarded $651,000 to deserving nonprofits in IMA communities!
Putt-A-Palooza’s success is a heartwarming reminder of the incredible power of community spirit. It’s a testament to how we can accomplish remarkable things when we come together, have a great time, and share a common goal.
We are already thinking about our next installment of Putt-A-Palooza, where we can once again revel in the joy of camaraderie, friendly competition, and, of course, giving back. As the event grows year after year, it’s clear that its impact will only continue to expand, leaving an indelible mark on the Puget Sound community.
