Added Protection for equipment owners

Bellevue, Washington – January 29, 2009 – Parker, Smith & Feek is proud to announce that it has established an alliance with the National Equipment Register (NER), enabling Parker, Smith & Feek clients to combat the growing expense of equipment theft.

Parker, Smith & Feek is the only Insurance Broker in the Pacific Northwest with the ability to offer clients a 20% discount on NER’s HELPtech Service. Additionally, a number of insurance companies will offer up to a $10,000 theft deductible waiver for equipment registered with NER.

NER’s national database is secure and provides confidential online registration of contractors’ equipment, including descriptions of equipment and serial numbers. Law enforcement authorities also have access to the database that helps in correctly identifying the correct ownership of the equipment. As additional deterrent registrants are given warning decals to display on their equipment.
